Grade 5: All fifth graders were asked to read two of seven articles on famous Whiz Kids.  Each article was no longer than one page.   Then students were to write a two paragraph summary of one of the articles using their own words. This assignment is past due.  (Point value-100 points)

Grade 6: Sixth graders have the same assignment as fifth grade plus two more related assignments. We read an introductory article about Whiz Kids. Students were to answer five questions about the article.  The third part of the assignment was to respond to a writing prompt that asked in which area each student would like to be a whiz kid ( science, music art, sports, etc.) and tell why. This is also past due. (Total point value-205 points.)
